at the end of august this year i blacked out and went into hospital with heart palpitations & other problems. i was tested for everything under the sun whilst in hospital including an echogram and 48 hour heart monitor all found nothing. they also did a full body count diabetes celiac disease you name it. they all come back fine and throughout September i felt fine but never 100% my normal self as i did before i blacked out. now recently i have gone backwards today i have just been bed-ward bound. i now feel faint, sick, diarrhoea, headache, insomnia no energy and my heart palpitations have come back preventing me from sleeping just basically how i felt back in hospital it's ruining my life it's started to make me cry. i've been for further blood tests this week. and the results should be back next week. so what i want to know does this sound like diabetes or something else? because i know for a fact that theres something up with me and i am fed up of feeling like rubbish all the time and want to know the truth. anyway thanks people for taking the time to read this and hopefully someone can put my mind at rest. any questions i will gladly reply to

Hi meekz, sorry to hear you are so unwell. Hard to say, keep pestering you Dr to find what causes you symptoms. They don't sound typical for diabetes but then we are all different. Have you had other hormones tested? Like thyroid and cortisol?

Hi Meeks, and welcome.

I'm sorry you're feeling so dreadful. Keep badgering the doc til you get an answer.

No idea if it is blood glucose related, but the doctors tests should give you the answer.

Did you know you can ask the surgery and the hospital for copies of all your test results? Just ask the receptionist and they should be able to give you a printout.

Might be worth looking things up online, which will probably give you a better understanding of what the test results mean.
