I don't know much about Type 2 but just wanted to say hello. With regards to your diet you need to find something that suits you, we're all different. Maybe work out how many carbs you feel comfortable eating with each meal. You shouldn't have to miss out on too much, and if you stick to a low / moderate carb diet you'll find that some of your food cravings disappear anyway.
Do you do any exercise? I hear it's good for the mind although I'm pretty scared of it myself!
