Feeling bloated and uncomfortable

Hello
I have drastically reduced my carb intake and my typical day of recent consist of one shredded wheat, topped with raw oats, quinoa, mixed salad and boiled egg or grated cheese for lunch and half a plate of cooked veggies and meat protein for dinner. I am now finding that I feel like I have constant indigestion, bloating, frequent burbing and abdominal discomfort. I have gallstones, so I am wary of eating too much fat, as this can aggravate them.

Too add to my woe, I suffered a bad bout of diahorrea today which I am attributing to Metformin. I was fine on 1000 mg twice a day since November 2016 until 2 weeks ago, so I don't know why I am having problems now.
I'm wondering, if anyone on here has experienced my symptoms after reducing carbs and upping veggies and whether this can be self managed without seeing a medical professional.

The wheat oats and quinoa would all bloat me. Same with half a plate of veg depending on the veg.
I need to be very careful with fiber and don't tolerate any grains at all.

Metformin has been known to cause upset stomach, especially if not taken with food. ANY drastic change in diet will likely unsettle anyones stomach and bowels. Give it a little time before thinking too much about it unless it becomes too uncomfortable.
