feeling fizzy?

Hi I have been diagnosed for 5 years now and all the time on diet only and well controlled, however recently my sugars are 8-10 2 hours after food and my hands and fee and lips feel fizzy all of the time. I am taking Ramipril and Bendro....??? cant remember the long name, but since starting it 6 months ago my sugars are higher....my ankles dont swell anymore as it gets rid of the fluid..plus my BP is still high...family related and hard to control unfortunately....but has anyone else noticed an increase in BG whilst on Blood pressure meds? oh yes I am 53 dont drink and have a fatty liver..also family heritage!
