Lynn, I just had a quick look back at your earlier posts. You may well have vertigo, there is also a condition called Meniere's Disease, which can make you feel sick and dizzy (so maybe get a second opinion) but I'm wondering if this is all connected to your depression? You also mentioned you have anxiety as well, I have the same issues. The trouble is, if you are in bed, you can't help but focus in on how bad you feel and round and round it goes in a cycle - it really is horrible. Are you having any kind of treatment for depression and anxiety? The anxiety alone can cause a very long list of symptoms (NOT imaginary) that are triggered by the adrenaline your body is putting out when you feel anxy, you may not even be aware that it's going on.
Is there anybody else you can speak to at your surgery? In the meantime, are you managing to keep an eye on your blood levels, and what they're doing? Same with what you are eating? You can use this forum for lots of advice and support about all things diabetic, especially diet. I do know for sure that staying in bed won't help (xx) so things need to be sorted out - make an appt with another GP if possible?
