Interesting point. The answer is no. I always thought gout tending to affect the toes or am I wrong. Mine are fine.@Bouncer have they tested you for gout? After years of suffering joint pain my new GP tested me for gout and yes this was the cause. It might be just worth asking. I found the naproxen useless against the pain.
