Feeling really poorly and getting a bit fed up with this

My bg is 2.2 three hours after having my tea I had bacon eggs sausage a slice of toast and beans. I feel like **** wobbly shaking and light headed
I have taken my metformin 1000 mg and Pioglitazone 30 mg with this meal so I have just had a couple of plain biscuits to make me feel better and a drink of pepsimax.
This is a regular occurrence now I have my annual review next week so will have my bloods done to see what they are like I am fed up because today I have been off my diet a friend brought her idea of a picnic for lunch time so I have had a sandwich, yoghurt and a pack of skips today as well but still my bg just keeps falling.
In the morning I have 80mg of gliclazide and 1000 mg of metformin this has already been reduced from 240mg of gliclazide to 80 I guess it needs to go altogether
I would love to low carb as I want to lose weight but it is impossible at the minute

From what you say, It appears that you only get these problems some time after eating. With a reading of 2.2 you are definitely hypo. your symptoms suggest this also.
My partner gets a similar problem if she eats too much carb with a meal, as it creates a strong second stage insulin release, which drops her into a hypo. It's called a reative hypo.
try cutting the amount of carb in your meals, and you will probably find things will improve. My partner has to adjust her meal size to ensure her post meal bloods stop below 7 (approx 10g of carb ) to stop the strong insulin rush. All this and she's controling by diet only. I'm on meds and luckily don't to get the hypos.
The gliclicide will be accelerating this problem. Its the carbs that are causing it
