Hi all,

New here :D,

I have Type 1 and generally have good sugar readings. However, two days ago I started having a fever and feeling shaky yet have higher than normal readings.

I have never had this feeling previously and it seems to come and go when I head to bed.

Has anyone had this same problem and do you think I could be related to my diabetes of to something else?...

Thank you.

Hello VoedVixen .

I have only had this when I am coming down with a bug/virus or infection ...
Feel queasy with the raised BG levels despite eating less due to the queasiness.

Usually 3 - 4 days later I find that I am indeed starting with a bug/virus or infection .
Needing plenty of fluids and rest and sometimes antibiotics too .

If you are concerned its best to see your GP .

Hope this can help you.

Anna.

Thank you very much,

Really appreciate the advice.

It was just sort of sudden and have had it now for three days and feeling a tad better.

Going to get blood pressure test as well tomorrow just to check I haven't got low blood pressure as my mum has it and my grandmother.

however, I am hoping to get some sleep tonight and feel better tomorrow.
