Hi there - I've had type 2 for over 10 years and in the past few years (following pregnancy) have been on insulin, so I monitor my blood sugar regularly. My morning blood sugar has always been high and I find that my blood sugar rises rapidly in the morning, eg its around 6 at 6am, by 7-730 it's up to 8, then by 8-830 it's 9-10. Playing with doses (increasing and decreasing) with my consultant has made no difference to this - it's very frustrating. I'm making an effort to get up and inject earlier to stop BS soaring, but over the past few weeks I've found that I feel really quite nauseous from about 6am, so much so that it wakes me up! I'm thinking it must be the rise in BS that's causing this, although I don't remember experiencing it before. Has anyone else experienced similar? Or am I slowly going mad? TIA
