Hi all, I've been on metformin for 2 and half years I'm also taking ramipril and atrovastatin been on these for about a year. I've just recently started to feel nauseous and a lot of saliva in my mouth mostly first thing in the morning and sometimes during the day, but if I belch the nauseous goes away for a while. Does anyone know if this is caused by my medication and will this mean more medication to take or will they change my medication. At the moment I chew ginger to stop me feeling nauseous. Thank you for your replies.

Hi, I was on a artorvastatin for a month and metformin and felt constantly sick, loss of appetite

Oops pressed the wrong button.
Headaches, ankle swelling, joint pain and muscle aches so taken off and put on metformin SR and a simvastatin. Still having a few problems but not like before.

Yes I've got loss of appetite aswell but I've been on metformin and atrovastatin for at least a year and half and had no problems. But just recently felt really nauseous everyday
