Just noticed your post. I'm a T2 and have days when I'm exactly the same. It's a nightmare.
If it was me, I'd do what T2's do and cut carbs to lower/stabilise bg, lose weight and reduce insulin requirements

it’s a long page and a video

For me, the more carbs we eat the more carbs we want. they don’t give up easy.

It certainly helps me. You've nothing to lose but sugar.
I would assume they will run the lot, but ask and make sure it has b group etc as wellThanks Denise, I've asked for a vit d test and am having it next week x
Vit B also needs to be requested. Its not a standard test.
Tiredness can be due to inactivity as well and depression.
I was diagnosed as having pernicious anaemia (after tests and stomach checks). And also fibromyalgia and treated for horrible depths of depression.
All wiped off from my records now. I also a 30+ yr T1. Wiped off I believe due to being genuinely happier in life in general, lots of vit D and targetting myself to get back to my gardening job when we returned to Northants.
Medicine? I had every antdepressant going, every pain relief, every counsellor, B12 injections (stopped 4 years +ago). It was because of my circumstances at the time.
Also what assisted me enormously was extra strength vit D, recognising what was the cause of my supposed depression ... Which was actually my hubby being depressed and thanks to @phoenix getiing fat in my diet. (I've always been a low carber-but wasn't having enough fats).
Oh to be happy in life - don't get me wrong, I am married and love my husband dearly but he has lost his interest in " you know what" even though he says its not me and he has been to the Drs and is on little blue tablets they are rarely taken and I long to be wanted - ha
IIhave been on anti depressents since I have been with him 20 years now and am slowely coming off them.
May be its because we do nothing but work long hours then go food shopping at the weekend, other than that it sit in front of the tv or reading books.
Could this be the reason ? since last night my legs have felt very strange, very heavy and with pins and needles in them, today it is an effort to walk .
I don't know, I am just in a bad place at the moment and don't know how to get out of it.
I am on leave from end of day and nack to work on 05 Jan, hopefully having this time off will let me sleep and rest and maybe a gentle walk xx
