feeling very tired all the time

I'm type 2 on 2 metformin per day plus 500mg of simvastin plus diurectics. I feel aboslutely exhauseted all the time, i can easily sleep all day. I've lost 1 and 1/2 stone in weight since bening diagnosed in february, i want to know if i should feel so **** tired all the time

Do you know what your Bg levels are throughout the day ?

No I dont know my BG throughout the day - have been told i dont need to test at all - apparently our surgery doesn't advocate type 2s becoming "obsessed" with testing only need to if on insulin - blah blah bah have "borrowed" test strips from dad occassionally and get 7.6 first thing and anywhere bewteen 4.5 and 8.2 during the day

Hi akelarules,
I'm hoping you got the 500mg simvastatin dose wrong :?: your symptoms could be down to side effects I had a similar problem, but you really need to see your GP.
