Feeling worse on metphormine....?

Hi since being diagnosed, i almost feel worse on slow release metphormine 1000mg, come tea time I'm confused tired and freezing, that goes on until 9 half 9pm. I feel like I'm permanently tired, I feel like I'm either stuck to the sofa or in bed I feel worse than before! I feel I'm in a constant cycle! Also my kidneys have never been sore before and they feel little tender is that normal? My bones are sore also come late evening I feel irritable,like I would like to gave a walk except I'm to tired! Does a year of this sound familiar? I'm so fed up! My mum said maybe I'm on too much medication is that possible?

What else are you on? If its only Metformin I would ask your doctor to reduce it to see if that helps. Are you on statins because they can cause problems.
