Feet

Anything that feels wrong with your feet needs to be sorted.

Toe nail infections, cracked hard skin, tingling or numbness of the toes or foot, small cuts, blisters, bruises, in fact anything.

The problem is that if you get an infection it could be difficult to cure and you don't want anything cut off.

So look after your feet, wash 'em, oil 'em, get someone to check the soles, keep nails cut and avoid ingrowing nails, wear proper leather shoes that are a good fit and don't wear nylon socks, they are so 1980's.

If you keep your blood glucose DOWN to NORMAL, you shouldn't expect any trouble. I've been diagnosed 9 years and my feet are perfect[In the diabetes sense 8) ]And I walk many miles.
However if you do experience any problems, get them seen to immediately. It's worth making sure your shoes fit well too. I live in trainers and wear toe socks, because my feet are a funny shape. they are made that way, not a result of anything I've ever done.
