feet

Have you had a Diabetes Nurse appointment yet? You would normally have them looked at and tested for sensitivity then.
 
i saw the diabetic nurse on the 30th may but she didnmt look at my feet or mention getting them looked at
 
Well, she should have done! Next appointment you must mention it and ask for them to be checked. Diabetics have this done routinely every 12 months, along with the retina screening test.
 
Yes you do get your feet checked, once a year at your annual review ....and when diagnosed...
Just a few simple checks but important ones....

Any problems with your feet at anytime , seek medical advice.....best wishes Kat

i,m seeing the nurse next month so i will get her tp look at my feet
 
she should check for a strong pulse in a couple of places and the lancet jabbing all over your toes, sole and heel to make sure the foot registers it as a sharp sensation are the 2 important ones to do. If it's not all sharp, you have to wear shoes all the time
