felt rubbish today!!

nothing new there you may say lol...just been sleepy this afternoon infact i did have a nap,
for lunch i had chicken salad at 2pm,
i didnt test my blood before the salad as i know i am ok with it (getting good eh)

anyway as i said, felt rubbishy this afternoon, had a nap still felt rubbish..anxious in a way,

before my tea at 6pm...
my reading was 5.6!!! its never been that low..its usually 8s 9s sometimes 10, more 8.5 thought

i'm hoping i feel better soon after having my tea,
was this too low for me?? although i know they are good numbers...but so soon?!!

Hi Roxy,

The reason you feel unwell is probably because your blood sugars have dropped. Your body is not used to this.
 
yes thats what i guessed, just wanted to make sure, now i have a banging head ache that wont go..is that normal too??

The headache could be part of it or you could be dehydrated.
 
Besides feeling like **** today, which is I believe part of your body readjusting...well done on getting your levels down to an ideal level.....

Well done on getting your bs down.

Sometimes after i have a low bs i get a headache which lasts a long time. So i know that they aren't pleasant.

I use it as an excuse to get the husband to do the housework :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi roxy well done on reducing your bs. I've also been getting good and bad days lately. Been diet controlled for 4yrs. and have had to start taking metformin since 7th April. Now on 4x500 daily. Bs have come down to 4.3.Couple of weeks ago they were 5;6. Need some help with my diet as this chronic wind is driving me mad.....any suggestions. :? :? :?
 
oh daffodil, funny you should write this...i have chronic wind tonight ..all the rabbit food i eat lol

is yours with the meds?

what do you think to the meds? worth being on them regarding your BS?, or is the pain you are having making you feel diiferent?

what other side effects do you have?
and what makes them decide to put you on meds?

The answer to chronic wind is to spend the night in a pub playing loud music keep a straight face no-one knows it's you!
