Did anyone listen to the File on 4 about diabetes care tonight?

Very interesting, seems a lot of money being wasted in the NHS, surprise, surprise.

I wonder how much money and resource could be saved if they updated their dietary advice?
 
Listening to this now. So interesting. When I was diagnosed in November, I had to push to see the Specialist (was being treated for T2 when I knew it wasn't!). Now I understand why my GP was so apprehensive in doing so.
