Final day for comments on NICE Hybrid Closed Loop consultation.

Thank you. I've just done it despite being lucky enough to have got funded before Christmas. The proposed criteria is so wrong and I've told them so. Nobody can complain about it if they don't speak up for themselves!
 
Does anyone know when we will be notified about the outcome?

The publication status on the NICE website is TBC. I think it typically takes 4-6 months before a final version is approved.

Wow, to me that sounds like a long time to wait.

I'd follow Professor Partha Karr (diabetologist) on Twitter as he seems to have the heads up on when new tech is getting approved. When the regional entities then update their policies is another matter. Fingers crossed anyway. I've got funded closed loop and its been as big a thing for me as the fsl was previously.

It's going to take a long time. This one has had many responses, not only giving opinions on how the decision process included in it is wrong, but also providing data relating to topics they touched on but didn't investigate fully, which will need to be reviewed. A definite slow burner.
