Final night

Night in with a bottle of red wine (or two) a chinese takeaway and a couple of brandy's to see the new year in, after that I am watching what I eat and drink and determined to get another stone off before Easter.

I have been a bad diabetic over the holidays, so we decided to see the year out with an indian and a bottle or two.

As I have been so bad for days I thought I would go out in style with my old favourite of a Korma, I don't eat it any more as it is sweet and sends my bg soaring. So was really looking forward to this rare treat............... Only to find that I didn't like it any more - it was too sweet.

I was very disappointed, although it did feel like some sort of victory for the changed diet...

I had Tandoori chicken and courgette bhaji, yum, yum. Am now going for a bubble bath with candles, a glass of red wine and some chick lit . Happy New Year to you all
