I can't believe I did it. I was the biggest chocoholic ever and always had to have a biscuit with a cup of tea etc. Now I can actually walk down the food aisles in the supermarkets and not bat a eyelid when I see cakes, biscuits, chocolates, fizzy drinks etc. Never ever in my wildest dreams did I think I could that would happen and I don't even know when it happened, so happy!

That's one of the things I love most about the LCHF diet - I feel like I've been liberated from food obsession!
I actually feel the opposite! Before I shoved anything and everything into my mouth without too much thought whereas now I'm really careful. The only way I can handle it is by saying, well you can have it but is it worth it, do you really want it, is it a good idea? My inner grown up says no or do you like your fingers and toes? I take great pleasure in cooking from scratch now. I miss the bread and booze at times. Sometimes I fancy dessert and feel a bit resentful. But not often. The whole thing is so insidious because apart from raising my bs, nothing would happen but like smoking, it's the cumulative effect. So at first the cereal and cake isle were hard if I was shopping when hungry. Now I'm ok. Sounds like ops original grown up has kicked in too! Well done!
