That is brilliant well donethe doctors say I'm cured. It is only controlled by diet though. I eat low carb and enough fat to make up the difference.
I have eliminated most high carbs from my diet (almost) bread, potatoes, rice, pasta or any other thing made from grains. It is difficult for a few weeks then it just becomes habit.Ok thanks I will keep watching the carbs
That is a weight loss thing. Nothing to do with diabetes. Sugar has little to do with it. All carbohydrates turn into glucose when you eat them.Hi I am doing propoints with weight watchers which is working really well as it's based around filling food and protein so that does help. What should I look for in terms of how much sugar is in something? Is there a limit I should look for?
Can you tell us what a typical days meals are?My levels before are generally around 6.4 and after 7-8 although I was shocked and upset tonight as it went up to 10

Bread and spaghetti, wholemeal or otherwise are very high in carbohydrates. I don't eat them much anymore.Basically I have switched everything I already had wholemeal bread and spaghetti and lots of fruit but now I feel a bit lost. I've stopped eating any rubbish and I watch the sugar levels in things I have I am finding it confusing though
