I am struggling to get back to low carbing after my holidays. I start the day off fine and full of determination do not too bad during the day, no bread/rice/pasta/potatoes mainly salad and meat some fruit. By the time it comes to now 9.15pm I want to eat rubbish. I am testing my sugars and they are not going under 9.2 at any time. Before I started low carbing I was sometimes as high as 22 although mostly 18 ish. As soon as I started low carbing went down to 6.4 - 7 but even when I am eating much the same now it is not coming down ! I need to give myself a good 'talking to' ..........sorry just wanted to get this off my chest
Also just before I went on holiday my GP prescribed my slow release Metaformin as I have problems with having to run urgently to the loo but they dont seem to me making any difference in fact might be worse, has anyone else found this problem, think I will just go back to the normal ones. Could the slow release affect my sugars?
Need to take more excersise as well. Got a 10K walk coming up soon so should really be getting prepared for this, just cannot get motivated.
Hope you are all well
