First aid training

Hi I am a first aider in my work and I am going for my defibrillator training. Does any body no if it would be a problem wearing a pump and using it I don't mean when I doing the training but if I was to use it in a real situation.

Best bet would be to ring the pump company. Personally I can't see a problem as it's not being used on you.

I agree with this, the patient will get the jolt while you are holding insulated handles on the paddles.
 
Hi I think most of the defibrillators used by none professionals have pads and not paddles, so you would probably not be touching the person you are giving first aid to should the machine recommend shocking them, least that is what ours is like
 
Its not an issue - I wear a pump and have done de-fib training.
