I’m feeling rather nervous, is that normal? Any advice you can all give me will be very much appreciated. I really don’t know what to expect, how long do these appointments last? What happens after you’ve had an initial appointment?

The appointment was nowhere near as daunting as I thought. Got another appointment next week, so now that the first ones out of the way the rest should be fine.

I think that’s maybe because they had lots of tests results from my surgery already. Based on the results from my gp they put me straight onto insulin. So today is day 3 for me being on insulin.

Click to expand... I’ve been put onto “Levemir”, 10u once a day. Saw an immediate reduction in blood sugars. The only issue I’m having is that I’m feeling light headed afterwards. I’m hoping that’s purely down to being new to it, and body not use to it.
