Hello,
I am off on my first abroad holiday to Majorca next month since being diagnosed last year. As I am only away for four days, I am taking just cabin luggage only. I know I need a letter/repeat prescription from GP for airport. Any other advice/tips I should be aware of? Can I put my insulin in a Frio cooling wallet thing in my suitcase before flying so it's nice and cool for when we arrive or does all medication need to be in a clear wallet? Limit of medication etc for hand luggage? Can I take as many sweet bags as my heart contents? Etc etc. I am still in the honeymoon period and v insulin sensitive and BG levels drop considerably with heat hence wanting to take lots of hypo kits!
I have travelled abroad with my diabetic brother before but when it's not yourself you don't really pay full attention to all details ha.
Thanks in advance!
