Hi, I went to a pump education evening last night and ended up choosing the accu chek insight, but after further research at home I'm worried I have made the wrong choice due to the pump not holding as much insulin.

If anybody is using it, is it a lot of hassle to keep refilling the pump? Or is it quite simple and wouldn't really be an issue?

I find the pump really easy to fill, especially with the profiled cartridges.

I change the prefilled cartridge around every 4 days and find it easy, been using the insight for just over 6 weeks and it's going well.

There's a few videos on YouTube that show you how to change the cartridge.

I've been using it for about four months and find filling both cartridge and canula very easy and quick. Change cartridge every 6 days or so, Canula every 3.

It is literally putting in a cartridge.. No filling plastic cartidges like on the old pump.

Depends how much insulin you use a day though.. Most of the pumps don't hold a lot though...
