Hi all,
After 4 weeks of being on the pump and doing no exercise i had to get out for a run last night.
Was very nervous as i haven't used the temp basal rate for exercise yet and i haven't got all my settings correct, so went with the advice from my DSN who i saw earlier in the day which was to reduce the basal by 20% 1 1/2 to 2hrs before the jog and run it for about 12hrs.
The run went well started at 8.6mmoll did 3.5mile in just over 30min with 35g carb supplement in my drink (this was a casual run for me). levels 30 min after getting in had only dropped to 8, with then eating 20g of carb my handset recommend 1.5units plus 0.2 to get to my mid point, bit worried by this so dropped my bolus down to 1.3units.
my before bed reading was 10.5 expecting to drop overnight (but hopefully not to much) wake in the night at about 4ish to find my levels had gone up to 13.8.

Not sure if this rise was due to the TBR or the fact that i ignored the handsets bolus advice?
