First Time Heavy Cold / sore throat

It's my first annual sore throat , tickle cough , form etc since being diagnosed .

Started with a blocked ear which I thought was just wax then sore ear and throat flem and now tickle cough and feeling rough , having to work as well .

My BS was a little higher at 6 this morning and 5.7 on a second test.

Anyone had experience of this?

Yes mate - thats quite normal, getting even a bit of a cold increases my levels and I have heard others report the same. Even a flu jab caused me to have raised levels for a few days.

I have had a cough for a couple of weeks and my bloods have been really high but now they are settling back to fairly normal I have a Hba test on Monday. so that should be. interesting !

Thanks for your comments. Before I was diagnosed I would most years get a bad bout , the weather is so weird these days , mild then cold etc. Part of these flu like symptoms is they can one buy into negative thoughts.
