Type 2 first week on trulicity, advice please

hi all, I have been on trulicity for a week, first few days were horrendous, nausea and really bad headaches, my fasting blood sugars readings were about 11 before, now they are 8.6- 9.2, can anybody tell me if they will get better with each trulicity shot I take, as I was hoping for better levels than this especially as I am eating better now , also I get full really quickly
 
Lauraann hello i was put on trulicity last august like you the first few weeks were terrible i even considered giving up taking it but my consultant who put me on it said try to persevere and after about 4to6 weeks later things started to settle down now i have no side affects at all and yes you do feel filled up this is normal as its supposed to help with losing weight so try to stick with it if you can things hopefully will get better thinking of you all the best.

thank you, did it take a while for your blood sugars to drop as mine are still quite high, thanks
 
Lauranne. Sorry took so long to get back to you yes my sugars where higher for a time but was told this was normal i take my trulicity every Wednesday and there always slightly higher on that day before they settle down again which is perfectly normal if you need any more advice just let me know?

thank you, taking y second shot tomorrow morning, hoping i don't get the
side effects really bad again
 
Hi again lauranne yes see what happens tomorrow and if symptoms are really bad i would just have a chat with your dsn or doctor especially if you still get a bad headache they may come up with something new so let us know what happens good luck
