Hi, I'm new to this but just wondered if anyone could offer support or advice.

As a fitness I'm struggling with knowing what to do when I'm teaching. Sometimes I go high and sometimes low, during or after. I have no real pattern. Each class is the same, I try to put the same energy into each but day to day this is going to vary.

Does anyone have any experience of this? My diabetes nurse has left and I'm waiting for a new one and so currently have no one to talk to.

Please help!!

Thank you

There is a forum on here called 'Fitness, Exercise and Sport', where loads of sports people with diabetes thrash out the problems of controlling their blood sugar, avoiding hypos, and carrying on with their sporting lifestyle. I'm sure you will get help from somebody there for dealing with your current problem of avoiding hypos and hypers when you're teaching your classes. Google TeamBG as well as this would probably be a useful website for you too. Best of luck, ...
and welcome to the forum, by the way!:)
