I've broken my BG meter (long story don't ask lol) and I was wondering if anyone else uses this meter and whether it can be fixed!? The needle bit isn't working, when I push the button thingy to release the needle and prick my finger it's just stiff and doesn't move!!!!! Anyone have any ideas!? Thank you!

ring up accu chek, they should replace it for you, UK should be the same, here they have a life time guarantee and free battery replacement [they make their money from the strips]

I agree with Jack412.
Also ask to be sent a spare complete meter FOC. & while your at it they will send you a case for it too..

Just a thought on the broken finger pricker..! Have you tried putting a new lancet cartridge in??

I dropped mine in some water and it would not work when it had dried out. I'm in UK and was sent another without question.
