I am using a bread making machine one of the ingredients strong white flour...can this be the reason why my readings have gone from 5.8 to 14.3
 
Strong flour is used in most bread - it isn't likely to make your blood glucose rise differently to any other wheat flour. Bread will generally have an effect, though?
 
Best advice is to lose the carbs, flour is a carb.
