Are food banks an inconvenient truth for the Government?

Ian Duncan Smith reckons it is a publicity-seeking, politicly partisan scaremonger.
In another incident three men are being prosecuted for taking food items, cheese, tomatoes and mushrooms from the bins outside Iceland, even though Iceland did not want to prosecute them. I wonder if they will be deported to Australia.
