Food scales

I have a Salter 3003, which has a glass surface and looks funky. I think it's accurate. It's certainly electronic and easy to use. Looks good out on the woorktop too. I like the Tare function. ( you can zero with a bowl on the pan and add to it.) I even use it for "weighing " liquids. It's easier than finding a level in a jug.

The Salter 1450analyses your foods as you weigh them. You can store the analysis as you weigh each ingredient.

I've got the Salter 3003 (same as Hannah). I'm very pleased with it - mainly because it is quite simple to use and I can weigh liquid in it as well. I bought that model mainly because of the price (£20 marked down from £40). It seemed like a good deal.

I just looked up the Salter 1450 that IanD mentioned - it looks really cool so might put that on a future wish list but I'm happy with the 3003 for now.
