Hello can anyone relate to this ... I seem to have lost my appetite and when I do cook the thought of eating makes me feel ill ...

Not sure if this is of any help. My wife who isn't diabetic has the same problem at the moment.
Apparently it's a woman thing at a certain time of life.
I don't go there though, apparently I don't understand.
