Hello everyone
I would like to know, why is it when I eat apparticular food I react differently to it and another doesn't who is also type 1
For example, if I eat a slice of potatoe my glucose goes high and if another takes the same slice it doesn't affect his/her glucose level.

It basically just comes down to 'we're all different', I've heard people say you can have a snack up to 10 carbs during the day and it'll be fine, it may be fine for them but I know for me it isn't, I definitely need my fast acting to cover that. Some people just react differently to different types of carbs as well.

As @Rokaab has said - We are all different. And also eating the same foods every day can give differing results. Welcome to the type one diabetic world

I HV now got it
It's not all about the the food and type 1 diabetes
But very many things makes it different.from the body,to the insulin,to the speed of digestion, activity etc thanks

We are different that's true, even identical twins are different in so many ways.i guess this a wake up call to not try to hook my self on things that are not working out with my body. Thank you

Like others have said we’re all individual, especially when it comes to diabetes. Unfortunately there is no one cap fits all, I’d go as far to say as the cap for one person doesn’t always fit that person every day. Diabetes is about gaining experience about what suits you and what doesn’t.diabetes if very much like life gaining experiences and learning from them ,
Stay safe
Be well
