You were just inside the 2 point rise so not really a massive spikefor me personally a 7.7 before eating would be too high for me - what had you eaten in the time before your 7.7 test? What was on your salad - everyone's idea of salad is different and a large salad with peppers, tomatoes etc can add up to a fair few carbs, do you add up your carbs?

As to the mints how many carbs in 5 mints? As I don't eat them can't help there but I am assuming they are ordinary mints so will be pure little sugar hits- maybe they are the culprit
@Flora123 I wasn't aware they didn't know of your diagnose so sorry about that. Yes it's really hard to let go. My way was, it's my life and i want it to be peaceful it took a good while but i'm older now so that makes a difference i think. Wasn't so good when i was young though as i said. Narcissistic, oh my yes i can see why your sugars are up now. Is it possible to maybe just give them a miss for awhile narcissistic people can be brutal. I’ve tried every technique I can think of but the thoughts of them just keep popping into me head then huge surges of adrenaline. They don’t know about my diagnosis as they are very judgmental people so I don’t want that on top of their usual narcissistic ways. Will keep persevering xx
breathing in a controlled way helps keep adrenaline surges down and can also stop an adrenaline surge getting too bad. Do you think you might be having panic attacks?Thanks Moggely.
