Feeling very worried. Went and saw my diabetic nurse yesterday, regarding the pains I have in my leg and foot. She examined my foot and tried to get a pulse in the top of my foot, she had to use a speaker used for pregnant woman but could not find a pulse. She did manage to find a faint pulse in my ankle.
She also looked at my legs and noticed the leg that has the foot problem is smaller than the other leg by 1 inch.
She tried to get me in to see the doctor, but he was fully booked, so have to go back today.
Has anyone else had this problem, as I am feeling very nervous about this

I told my chiropodist (non NHS) that doctors have difficulty finding a pulse on my feet. She told me that sometimes the blood vessel can be covered (can't remember by what!) so that the pulse cannot be felt. She pointed out that my feet were nice and warm which showed there was nothing wrong with the blood flow (I didn't tell her that my husband often complains about my cold feet in bed!) I'd been having a dreadful pain in my foot which turned out to be from a ganglion.

Hope you get on OK today.

I have just com back. Not much has happen. Have got appointments for an x ray and blood tests to be done. he has written me off work for a week because I stand on my feet for 6 hours at a time, he does not know if I am doing more damage to my foot.
At least they are doing something I guess
