Foot Pain

Type of diabetes
Treatment type
Tablets (oral)
Have had type 2 for going on two years - at moment probably 1 stone too heavy but on the case of it- blood sugar levels very controlled (metformin) however over the last week I have had intense pain on the sole of my right foot - feels like it is badly bruised although it isn't and hurts like hell when I walk unless I walk on the ball of my foot! Is this related to diabetes? Or just an unfortunate coincidence as haven't knocked my foot but was wondering does anyone else suffer from similar pains?

Either could be the cause. I also get it in the right foot which happens to be the one that Tweenie Nurse has difficulty getting a pulse in. It either aches or starts to "claw" slightly and since Tweenie always asks about it I suppose it is diabetes related.

I have also been told I have very weak pulses in both feet - they're always cold too! Thanks for the feedback
