This could be a result of taking statins.
Hi had pain under my toes on and off for about 3 weeks now, been doctor today and he says my feet are in good condition and he tested sensation in end of my toes all good, but when I am sat it is annoying me ( when walking it's fine ) any ideas
It's just on one foot and it's like a cramp pain under foot and a stabbing pain in last 2 toes but he couldn't figure out what's wrong
Atorvastatin does cause muscle pain side effects for many people. If you stop taking statins and notice your pain goes away you will know for sure. See http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2016/04/03/statins-do-cause-muscle-pain-scientists-conclude/Yes I do take 20mg of statin daily, it doesn't hurt when I am up and walking about just when sat or laid down it's not a pain bad enough to need pain killers just really odd and niggling
Before I took my condition into control, I had very high blood sugars, and high BP and high Cholesterol. Not sure which one it was, but I started to get toe cramps and sticky out toes that were unusual. Not the normal leg cramps. just the toes. My T1D buddy gets toe cramps when his bgl is high too.Hi had pain under my toes on and off for about 3 weeks now, been doctor today and he says my feet are in good condition and he tested sensation in end of my toes all good, but when I am sat it is annoying me ( when walking it's fine ) any ideas
