Foot Pain

often at night time i get sharpe pains in my feet. It starts with my feet feeling like they are on fire . Then that turns into a sharpe stabbing pain. It normally starts when i am sat watching tv . My wife thinks it may be my footwear is this normal ps my blood sugers are not as good as they could be pps type 2 eleven years taking novarapid and lactus . cheers riodad
 
I would discuss this with your GP, diabetes clinic or diabetic nurse. It could be related to your high blood sugars, but there again it could be something completely unrelated. Best to get it checked out though.
