Hi, I'm 45 and T1 for 18 years. I have been getting treatment for a foot ulcer since January. I was in hospital for 2 wks on IV antibiotics and then weekly dressing changes. In April the infection got into the bone. I was in a non weight bearing boot up until 4 wks ago and now they have put me into cast. I'm on my 4th cast change and just wondered if there was anyone in this group that had been through this - I am really struggling now and just want to hear that this treatment has worked for others? I started on the pump in April and it has changed my life! Huge improvement with my sugars and HbA1c 55 on my last test. TIA
