Football 2025/26 Season.

Dundee United 1 UFA Strasser 0

probably not enough. Need to do more at home. Last time we won the home leg 1-0 and got walloped 7-1 in the second leg.
Next thursday for the return leg.
HIbs drew away in Denmark
Gers won 2-0 at home to some Greeks.

I'm hopeful for a better season but I'm not convinced that we will.
We have improved our options at the back and central midfield, but our attacking options are very limited up to now.
we couldn't really get a more difficult start than the Cowley brothers Colchester, away.
so I'm not going to believe that a good start will happen..
so much not going on behind the scenes, still no takeover, no investment and no chance of promotion or even play offs. And that is being positive.
Ronnie Moore, a legend of a player and manager, has been diagnosed with cancer.

Yeah you were living dangerously last season and thankfully escaped the drop. Fingers crossed you keep well away from it this time. Less than 2 days to the big kick off.

And it's have got through as well, good start for them.
 
We had a 1-0 win away in Luxembourg and so go on to play Rapid Vienna in the next round of qualifiers. It's great seeing the support away 1,500 having a great time.
We played RV in a European Cup quarter final back in the Jim McClean days and beat them. Shadow of that team.
We are currently getting killed for having a starting 11 without any Scots in it. Old firm being doing this on and off for years. Nothing.
HMRC probably going to investigate us for using RnD incorrectly...

All football clubs need investigating, especially kit prices.
I mean a shift of ours is over £50. Probably cost a fiver to make.

The headline at the moment is about Sheffield Wednesday and their financial woes as to whether they will start the season. The EFL are concerned. Who'd have thought that a big club like them would get in to that embarrassing situation.
 
Oh wow what a way to start the new season. we won 3-0. A good day for Yorkshire Football as Bradford, Doncaster, Rotherham and Barnsley all won too. We are top of the table. Next up is Away to Reading next Saturday which is closely followed by the cup clash with the Foxes (Leicester City) on Tuesday 13th August. Wouldn't that be quite something if we could beat them.

Season starts for United tomorrow away at Falkirk, which might be tricky, just promoted.
Good start for HTFC and an away point for the Rovers.

Scored first and then pegged back.
Generally encouraging start to league season.
Europe mid week.


Dundee lose at home to Hibs, not a surprise.
Celtic score winner in last 5 minutes, not a surprise.
Rangers pegged back at the end for a draw, lucky to get it if reports are accurate.

Hearts Aberdeen tonight, will be interesting to see the form of both clubs.
