I have type 2 diabetes which I am taking various tablets for however I have problems with my feet in that one feet is slightly bigger than the other. Therefore I need extra roomy shoes which I found a company called cosyfeet. Does having type 2 diabetes except me paying the vat on these shoes?

I very much doubt that you are exempt from VAT on footwear. The VAT exemption for diabetes relates to medical supplies (meters, strips etc) only. The size of your feet is not diabetes related.
