Hi,
I need some advice about footwear please.
At home, I have now badly hurt my right foot by smashing into furniture three times in the last few months, twice when not wearing slippers and once wearing them.
Each time the consequent swelling, bruising and pain takes a while to go away, with my little toe being the worst affected. As we all know, healing takes longer for diabetics than for non-diabetics.
Does anyone know of any kind of footwear that is comfortable but will protect my toes from such incidents? I don't want to have to wear steel toe-capped boots around the house.
Thanks,
J.
PS - yes, I know it's best to avoid the furniture in the first place but accidents do happen.
