I've been quiet as i have been away - 2 nights visiting friends, then a conference in a hotel. I am pleased with myself because I stuck to the diet really well, and i also walked a lot having just bought a fitbit. in the last 7 days have walked 42 km (26 miles) which sounds unbelievable !!!! i'm being weighed at GP on Weds, so am hoping i will have lost weight, if I haven't then there is no justice in the world as i have stuck to 800 calories most days, rising to 1100 twice but no carbs or sugar. I just had meat and cheese as available, and did without the carbs. One thing that was particularly nice and felt incredibly luxurious was an amuse bouche in a restaurant that suddenly appeared, a teeny portion in a tiny coffee cup and it was scrumptious: Cauliflower and blue cheese foam, ie like the froth on top of cappucino but savoury, with a nice garnish of chopped chives and toasted pumpkin seeds. It was heavenly and i want to see if i can make it at some point using the foam maker from the coffee machine
