Yes nuts giving me a mouth ulcers too. (Almonds) This discussion about self harming with carbs - this can be blocked with a veg feast. Always keep veg cooked lightly in the fridge to make a stir-fry or nibbling on. Reassure yourself it isn't you addicted but the carb cravings. Carbs = more carbs. High bgs yearn for higher bgs. Block them in their tracks. Carbs are evil for diabetics. I don't care what anyone says. There are carbs peaking in our food, from all angles so aliminate the heavy ones and the light ones will do less damage. Just remember 'you're worth it' when debating about those better meat quality sausages should be bought. Salmon and other expensive foods are farmed for people like you. People who need their nutrients and healing properties. Processed food is for those none delicate paletes. Become chosey and particular about what goes in your mouth. You have full opportunity to make a difference in hoe long you will live. Recklessness causes mistakes, mistakes which are deadly, for some. Let others be reckless. You want to live longer. You may be recognised as the longest living diabetic or similiar. The world is your oyster! I find some self harmers have been told they're worthless. You definitely are important enough to keep healthy and have great longevity as your right! Diabetics are not worthless, especially at the moment. Everyone of us are pioneers!
