Anyone else get this when they're new?
I have done it a few times now. Once led to exercise-induced hypo, once after downing ice cream, popcorn, coke in a movie - and a couple times where I've forgotten to bring my kit with me (luckily remembered before going far).
How do you remind yourself?
I try to bring my bag with me everywhere, which acts as a reminder when I have it. But being a 30yo bloke sometimes having to explain my "handbag" to every single person pisses me off. I got myself a nice little leather bag with a shoulder strap - but it is certainly not a "manly" look, in the traditional sense. Don't want to carry a full size bag everywhere, that'd be impractical.

I've found sports stuff is quite good at accommodating equipment. I'm ok in winter coz my running jacket has enough pockets for meter etc but I don't suppose you want to around in sports clothes all the time.
