Forgot to put Byetta pen in the fridge

Ok, So I ordered my Byetta pen yesterday morning and picked it up at 5:00pm that evening. And then I forgot about it and left it on the table until this morning - about 14 hours later.

The instructions make it clear that it should be kept in the fridge until it has been prepared. Should I throw it away and get another pen or would it still be OK to use?

As long as you're going to start using the pen it'll be fine-you only have to keep the pens your not using in the fridge.

Ok, I wasn't planning to use it until Wednesday when my current pen reaches its 60 doses. But I'd be fine with using the new one from this evening

They are ok at room temperature for 28 days, so don't worry
