Forum IT issues - is it just me?

I’m having issues with my favourites shortcut in safari not working to take me straight to recent posts and the new posts/what’s new options (which I still can’t work out how they differ) options failing to (consistently) refresh. Using the website on safari on an ipad. I’ve reset the shortcut loads of times without sorting the problem.
 
I think New Posts are probably new threads.
What's New is certainly anything that has been added to, however old the original thread.
I have a similar problem with categories on Facebook.
